things I wish I could do...

* glassblowing
* come to a stop on ice skates or inline skates without having to crash myself into the wall or some other immobile object
* speak another language
* fly an airplane (just a little one)
* play piano
* swim
* flirt
* cross-country ski
* understand and enjoy economics and politics
* draw/paint/create art that is more sophisticated than what a 3rd grader can do
* change the oil in my car
* run 8 minute miles
* dance without looking like a complete dork

I guess the cool thing is, I could learn to do every one of these things. I may not be the world's best at any of them, but that wouldn't really be the point anyway.

Kris,

First off, thanks for the link to my blog =)

As for the things you wish you could do, if I lived a bit closer id be glad to help you with a few of them. I could help you learn to stop on ice or inline skates without crashing into the boards doing so ( ive been on skates since I was 4 ) . Change the oil? Messy but its not too difficult. Draw/paint/create art, that comes from the mind and the heart. It doesnt always take a huge amount of talent, just some patience and persistence.

While I cant help tunr you into Ginger Rogers, it would be kinda fun to look like dorks together on a dance floor ;) Oh and flirting, that didnt come to me until after I got married, go figure =)

How about making it a goal for 2008 to mark at least one of those off your list? :-)
