Yes you certainly do. I can attest to that after having been your roommate. Here's me wanting to just shut out the storm but you would want to have the blinds wide open to see what was going on :) I am getting better with storms. I actually like watching the cloud formations now. I still won't step outside like you and my dad though.
I love them too! When I was little at camp they used to make us all stay in the mill while it was storming out but the bathrooms were about 1/4 mile down at the pavilion. We would keep telling the counselors we had to go so we could run out in the rain and see the lightening.
