Dear Mom,
As I have started running in the mornings before work, I have to get up at around 5:30 or so just for a short 2-3 mile run. So this morning, I was about 1 mile into my run at 6:10 a.m., the exact moment I turned 35 years old.
Sorry for making you get up so damn early back on this date in 1973. I know how much you would have rather slept in a little. I know I was wishing I had done the same. ;-)
Love,
Kris

5:30 hmm, I was up an hour or two before that! Your dad had to go get the babysitter and come back to get me. Then the next day after you were born (and I with 3 at homw was looking forward to breakfast in bed for 3 days)the doc came in and said, "You have help at home, right?" Well one of the grandmothers was coming, I forget who. So he then said, "I am sending you home. You know how to do this. We need your bed!" The day I had you I was about the only new mom in the OB ward. There were 17 babies born after you and they ran out of space. See what you started?
Love you too,
Mom
This was just too funny of a post! I read it out loud to David
